Camping trip

We went on our second camping adventure of the summer this weekend. We met Uncle Eric and his girls up on the rim and had a great time.

Katie and Meg have started asking to take pictures with my camera (thanks Aunt Robin), here is one of their shots.

What a fun time we had on vacation in Colorado!

We camped for 2 nights near Silverton with Uncle Eric, Aunt Julie, Ellie, Ashlyn, and Abby.

The scenery was spectacular!

Fourth of July Parade

One of the highlights of the trip for Katie and Meg was riding in Grandma S.'s jeep in the Ouray Fourth of July Parade. The girls helped decorate the jeep and had fun throwing candy as they rode in the parade.

Bungee Trampoline

We stopped at Durango Mountain for some family fun on our last day in Colorado. Meg and Katie loved riding the alpine slide (and chairlift) 3 times, and then begged to try the bungee trampoline.

Then it was Katie's turn. WHEEEEE!

Both Meg and Katie said it was one of their favorite parts of our trip.
