Christmas in the sun

The girls enjoyed a sunny Christmas. They loved their new toys and running around outside.

We made it.

The girls did pretty good on the flight out and we are getting settled in at the temporary place. It snowed 2-3" on Thursday so we took the girls out to see what it was all about. They enjoyed walking in it until the snow started sticking to their boots. Katie did NOT like having snow on her boots. Posted by Picasa

Christmas pictures?

We couldn't find a time to get Meg and Katie in to get their pictures taken for Christmas so we thought we'd give it a try at home. What better backdrop than a poinsettia?

Here is the best of what we could get while there were still leaves on the plant...

Fun at the park

We had a 65 degree day today so we took the girls to the park. They have some toys to ride on. Meg likes her motorcycle but isn't too sure about riding with her sister on the fire truck...

Relaxing Reading...

It was quiet for a moment this afternoon. When Jenn looked to see what was going on this is what she found. The girls love their books but this is the first time we have seen them reading on their backs. Posted by Picasa

Go Bucks!

A few weeks ago we all went down to campus before the Ohio State - Penn State football game. We walked through the tailgate parties and then watched the band practice before the game. The girls loved the band and would have liked to run onto the field and "march" with them.

Science museum

Jenn took Meg and Katie to the local childrens science museum last week. She wasn't sure if it would be too crazy trying to keep track of both girls in a large area like that but they did great. The girls had a wonderful time, I hope to be able to go with them sometime soon(I won't be trying it solo though).
Meg is not sure she is ready to be Indiana Jones.

Katie and I need to have a chat about the proper way to hold power tools.

Katie has been stomping a lot lately. She will stomp her feet while laughing and squealing.
They had jackets for the kids to wear as they played in the water.

When Meg gets excited she will let out a little squeal while jumping.

I think Meg is ready to work the cones at my next autocross...

Or maybe not...
