A Visit to Santa

Katie was very shy, but not nearly as shy as Meg.

This is as close as Meg would get. She would not look at Santa and I think she was in disbelief that her sister would sit right next to him.

Tree Trimming

We decorated our Christmas tree earlier today while the snow fell outside.

First Snow

A couple inches of snow fell overnight - much to the girls' delight.

I'm not sure the chickens like it... stay tuned.

Katie (left) and Meg got the opportunity to do some early trick-or-treating today at Erin's workplace.

This year the girls asked Grandma S. to make chicken costumes. Katie wanted to be Fuzzworth and Meg wanted to be Henny Penny. Didn't she do a good job? Thank you, Grandma S!

They can hardly wait for Sunday evening!

Field Trip

We went on a field trip this week to a local wildlife park.

Meg and Katie did not hesitate to pet the green iguana,

or the 113 pound, 13 foot snake named Gracie.
