Cookie decorating fun

Jenn made gingerbread cookies with Katie and Meg yesterday. They had a lot of fun. Notice how Katie works on things without putting down the dough that she is eating. The girl has her priorities.

Meg and Katie went to their twin friend's house to decorate gingerbread houses yestertime (thats Katie's way of saying yesterday). They had fun and there was actually enough candy left to put on the houses.

Its October again!!!

There is a fall festival that started up a couple years ago. They have hayrides, a hay maze, a field with pumpkins and of course the bounce house (I think we were there 4 or 5 times). Its a little bit different than what the girls experienced last year but the aspen were turning and it was a nice cool fall day. They are still talking about the bounce house...

Special treats

Meg and Katie are potty training. We promised them ice cream cones if they used the big potty for #2 and they don't let us forget. Fortunately we have some mini cones so they don't get too sugared up after every trip to the bathroom.

More hiking

We did another hike today, Katie and Meg had fun in their backpacks. They walked on their own for a while but we made much better time with them on our backs. I think they will be too big for the packs soon, it was good while it lasted. We ended up getting rained on but the girls didn't seem to mind, they rode happily in the packs and got pretty well soaked.
Grandpa S and Bella came with us, the girls loved to watch Bella run.

The "cave" is actually a spring. Fortunately the girls were not interested in seeing what was inside.

Among the wild flowers

We went for a hike today and found a field full of flowers on the way home. Meg and Katie enjoyed walking through the field and picking flowers.

Lunch with GG

 

We were able to have lunch with GG a couple weeks ago. Meg and Katie enjoyed spending time at GG's apartment and eating lunch with her. They stopped moving just long enough to get a picture.
