Feeling Better

By 1o o'clock this morning, Meg(left) and Katie were feeling MUCH better, and were begging to do some crafts. We made these glasses to wear tonight for our quiet night at home. We'll eat dinner, play some games, and the girls will probably be in bed by 7pm.

Christmas Part 3

We had a fun time celebrating Christmas with Erin's side of the family on the weekend following Christmas. Meg and Katie giggled and played with their cousins all weekend.

We enjoyed the warm sunshine outside and went on a fun hike.

We went to Zoo Lights. The highlight of the evening was the talking giraffe.

Christmas Eve Snow Hike

On the afternoon of Christmas Eve Erin took Katie and Meg on a snow hike while I made our Christmas dinner. They had fun tromping through the snow and making snow angels.

Christmas Part I

The weekend before Christmas we had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas with Toby, Aunt Robin, Grandma H., and Grandpa H. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the warm weather and riding our scooters.

We got to watch a Christmas Golf Cart Light Parade...

and see Santa in a red convertible.

We love our cousin Toby! He knows how to do everything!

Warmer weather

It has been too cold to ride the bikes up here so we loaded them on the car and took them to Grandmas house for the weekend. I laughed every time I saw them on top of the car so I thought I'd share.

On Christmas Eve we enjoyed our traditional birthday cake for Jesus.
(Yes, it was in the upper 20's outside, but Meg insisted on wearing a summer dress.)

Katie and Meg had fun decorating their annual Gingerbread House.

Meg chose to use the candies to decorate the house with patterns and symmetry in mind. Katie chose a more eclectic approach.

Snow day fun

We got 2-3 feet of snow last night so today was full of fun. I think we may have started a luge course down the sidewalk and a good sled hill in the driveway.
