Go Bucks!

A few weeks ago we all went down to campus before the Ohio State - Penn State football game. We walked through the tailgate parties and then watched the band practice before the game. The girls loved the band and would have liked to run onto the field and "march" with them.

Science museum

Jenn took Meg and Katie to the local childrens science museum last week. She wasn't sure if it would be too crazy trying to keep track of both girls in a large area like that but they did great. The girls had a wonderful time, I hope to be able to go with them sometime soon(I won't be trying it solo though).
Meg is not sure she is ready to be Indiana Jones.

Katie and I need to have a chat about the proper way to hold power tools.

Katie has been stomping a lot lately. She will stomp her feet while laughing and squealing.
They had jackets for the kids to wear as they played in the water.

When Meg gets excited she will let out a little squeal while jumping.

I think Meg is ready to work the cones at my next autocross...

Or maybe not...

Our little readers

Jenn gave the girls some light reading after breakfast the other day. It is surprising how long they will thumb through a book before getting bored.

I'm also a good reader... Sometimes the girls will join me for a story. They usually only sit with me one at a time, we aren't sure why but they don't always like to share mom or dad's lap.

Mmmmm, toes...

I put the girls in their seats to eat this morning but before I could get their trays on they found something to munch on...

Wear your sunscreen!!!

This post is a little different from most. It's more of a Public Service Announcement than our typical postings. I had a recurrence of Basal Cell Carcinoma removed last week. It is cancerous but it is the least serious of the 3 types of skin cancer. 18 years in the AZ sun with quite a few sunburns set me up for more of these in the future.

Remember to keep your kiddies covered with good sunscreen!

H2O Fun

Jenn sent the following story and pictures to me at work on Thursday...

After the girls had been playing a while, Meg reached for a toy at the opposite end of the water table. She couldn’t reach it, but instead of walking around, she decided to climb up into the water. I think she was a little surprised that she made it at first, and then she seemed to like it. Katie wasn't phased and continued to play around Meg. I set the camera down, and took Meg out to take off her dress, which was soaked. She immediately wanted back on top of the table. She sat in the water (in her diaper) and played. Katie started to give it a try, but decided not to. Meg wasn't up there long before she started getting cold, so I took both girls inside. They were not very happy!!
