Felt Flowers

We made felt flowers today - very easy and fun.

Our friend Noah, who is 2 1/2, made some too.

To make a felt flower, you just need a pipe cleaner, a bead, and some felt shapes with a snip cut in the middle.

Winter Wonderland

There is so much snow...

Sugar Snow

We made snow candy yesterday ~ just like Laura and Mary Ingalls.

All you need is pure maple syrup, butter(optional), and snow.

We are just over 4 feet of snow as of Friday night. There's probably another foot in store before Saturday is finished. Sunday is supposed to be nice and sunny.

That tall lump is my grill, not going to be using that for a while...

Snow Day

The schools were closed here today so we got to go sledding with some of our friends who had the day off. Hooray for a snow day!

What's Cookin'?

Meg and Katie love to help in the kitchen. This week I let them choose a recipe from this cookbook. We made chicken pot pies for dinner - yum!
